Footwear Students Invited To Submit Entries For Joseph C. Moore Scholarship

Students in the Footwear Design & Development program have been busy working on their design submissions for the Joseph C. Moore Footwear Design Contest Scholarship, to meet the March 2, 2020, deadline to enter.

In April, one winner will be awarded a 12-week educational program at the prestigious ARS/Arsutoria School in Milan, Italy. Two or three winners will be awarded online programs from ARS.

The scholarship covers tuition to attend the world-renown footwear pattern making and prototyping course, and is valued at $11,700—in addition to accommodation at the campus valued at $5,000, and a round-trip air fare.

FIDM is one of only five U.S. colleges invited to participate: FIDM, FIT, SCAD, RISD, and Parsons New School. This is the second year FIDM is participating.
